The AVPA has filed an amicus brief in Free Speech Coalition vs Paxton, a case which will be heard on January 15th 2025 with a decision expected to be handed down in the summer.

Our aim is to ensure the Court understands how the latest age verification and age estimation technology works to deliver privacy-preserving, accurate, inexpensive and convenient age assurance.  The experiment with filtering over the past twenty years since the Court last considered this issue has clearly failed to protect children from exposure to material intended for adults only.
